Massive old lock from the Old St Louis City Jail, it is a double sided keyed lock, so used in the main gate entrance , and not in individual cell, and the lock is made by Pauley Jail Building Co of St. Louis, here is their site http://www.paulyjail.com/about/history.html, overall it measures 14" by 21" and is heavy, it has harden steel bars.
